Paterson, NJ — April 2, 2026 — IEP Binder, a new mobile application designed for families navigating the special education system, is now live at iepbinder.com. The app gives parents and caregivers of children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans a single, secure place to manage everything — from documents and communication logs to progress tracking and meeting-ready reports.

For millions of families, managing a child's special education records means juggling paper binders, scattered emails, and notes from years of school meetings. When it comes time to advocate for services, appeal a decision, or transition to a new school, critical information is often impossible to find quickly. IEP Binder was built to change that.

"Parents shouldn't have to be their own filing system. IEP Binder gives families the organized, accessible records they need to show up confident and informed — at every meeting, every year."— IEP Binder Team

With IEP Binder, parents can securely store IEPs, 504 Plans, evaluations, and medical notes; log every phone call, email, and school meeting with timestamped records; monitor their child's goals and progress over time; and generate printable, binder-ready reports in minutes. The app also features AI-assisted document reading to help families surface key information from complex educational records.

The app is designed with clarity and simplicity at the front, ensuring that families of all technical backgrounds can use it without a learning curve. Long-term record continuity — keeping a complete history through grade changes, school transitions, and annual IEP reviews — is a core focus of the platform.

IEP Binder is available now at iepbinder.com. The app is intended for parents and legal guardians of children with IEPs or 504 Plans, ages 18 and older.

Clash of Legends: Eastside Ghosts vs. Kennedy Knights in an Epic Centennial Showdown at Historic Hinchliffe Stadium This Thanksgiving

Paterson, NJ — This Thanksgiving Day marks a defining moment in Paterson’s proud sports legacy as the centennial football game between the Eastside Ghosts and the Kennedy Knights takes place at the city’s iconic Hinchliffe Stadium. For a full century, this rivalry has been woven into the heart of the community, and this year, the celebration carries an even deeper meaning: the debut of a new commemorative logo created for the Kennedy High School PTO, featured on hoodies sold to benefit the organization.

A Centennial Tradition at a Historic Venue

Hinchliffe Stadium—a National Historic Landmark and one of the few remaining stadiums in the country to have hosted Negro League baseball—stands as a symbol of Paterson’s athletic and cultural heritage. After its restoration, the venue once again provides the stage for this Thanksgiving Day tradition.
The annual matchup between the Eastside Ghosts and J.F. Kennedy Knights transcends sports—it reflects Paterson’s enduring spirit of rivalry, pride, and unity that has defined generations of local athletes and fans.

The Official Kennedy PTO Centennial Logo: Designed by Tania I Ortiz

To commemorate this historic milestone, Graphic Designer Tania I Ortiz created a custom logo for the Kennedy High School PTO. The logo, now proudly displayed on hoodies sold to raise funds for the PTO, honors both the school’s legacy and the game’s centennial significance.
The design draws from Hinchliffe Stadium’s timeless sports heritage, blending classic black-and-white prestige elements with bold mascot colors that symbolize both schools’ resilience and pride. The emblem’s composition reflects the past 100 years of community connection while celebrating the next century of local tradition.

“This logo was designed to honor a century of rivalry and unity,” Ortiz said. “It represents not only the teams but also the generations of families and fans who make Paterson’s Thanksgiving game a cherished tradition.”

A Community United in Celebration

The anticipation for this year’s Centennial Game is electrifying. Alumni, students, and residents across Paterson are coming together to celebrate this once-in-a-century event—one that represents more than football. It stands as a tribute to the city’s heritage, its youth programs, and the power of community collaboration that continues to define Paterson.
